The Lost Week

Since i have apparently lost a week here, no idea where the past week went, just kind of zoned out on it with all that was happening in my life, I am going to offer up a lost week prompt.
What if your hero woke up one day and discovered that they had lost a week of their life? They don’t remember what happened during that time, it just does not seem to have existed.
This could open up all kinds of things from someone that was in a car accident to a spy who was hit with some drug that wiped out their memory. Maybe a small time burglar that broke into a lab and accidentally got dosed with something that effected their memory?
As you can see you can have a lot of fun with a lost week. Maybe a space ship captain that was drug into a time anomaly and lost a week that way? Did something happen while they were missing and they can’t prove where they were so have to prove their innocence?
