Three

Since today is the third day of 2008, and it has long been believed that there is power in the number three, today’s prompt is the number three. You can work it into your novel any way you desire, maybe three coins are found in a pocket or the character needs to be somewhere at three in the afternoon. Maybe someone has to do something three times, or the characters do a count of three as they pull together to get something done.
It is not important what the source of the three is, just that you get to writing and have fun with it. If you want some muse inspiration then you can check out the wikipedia article on the number three.
