Writing Prompt: Clasp

Today’s writing prompt is “clasp”, this could be a clasp that holds something or the clasp of a hand on an arm. Maybe it is the clasp of a purse or a broken clasp on a dog’s leash? The clasp on a trunk or some kind of book?
I know it is not much to start writing from, and I apologize for that, but I”m fighting a bad headache right now.
