Writing Prompt: Stray Paper Scraps

I got the picture prompt on here from About.com Fiction Writing.
Let your muses take off at a run with whatever they decide works best from the picture. I came up with quite a few different ideas for what it could stir.
Is the paper a top secret document that got lost on the street?
Is it the stock market page from a newspaper blown back in time from the future and just waiting for someone to realize what it is?
Does the man stepping onto the curb see something on the paper that will change his life in some manner?

Thanks, Sandra, for feeding the muses! I recently decided to write once a day to get back into shape–I’ve been very much out of it the past couple years with a few exceptions. This was my first post! Feel free to take a look…it’s not very good.
